as of late

hello there,

this past weekend and week has flown by.
with cabin nights, and football games, visiting family..
its gone by so quickly...
sadly christian is leaving me on a antelope hunt tomorrow :(
i wont see him till saturday night and then only a few hours
on sunday till he leaves for work at 3
i feel like i can have a pitty party because i havnt seen him all
week. our schedules are so opposite, and the weekends are our
time to reconnect with each other.
okay pitty parties over..
because kelsye and i are having a sleepover on friday night!!
i'm really excited to spend some girl time with her since we
didnt have the chance to get together last week.
then saturday shopping and some lunch with my mom and sisters.
it's going to be a good girl weekend, so that is good to keep my
husband off my mind for friday and saturday until he gets home.

last night i felt like freaking julia childs ok,
i'm not kidding you!
i had my apron on, looking good in the kitchen.
cutting up a bunch of onions and veggies for tomato basil soup
and you know what?
it was just as good as my mothers!
and she's the best cook i know. so hey, i'm feeling proud, and
have some high hopes for my kitchen skills after all.
and .. it was kind of fun.. jamming to music while
making yummy food. maybe i'll try it again sometime.. lol

well tonight i'm in for some good house cleaning..
i guess you didnt fail me after all, mom.
