over the weekend

This weekend, i'd say, was a rather great one.
Christian has every other Sunday off of work, and this week
was his long weekend. We enjoyed every second we could with each other.

Friday was our date night..

And we did what any married couple would do, we went grocery shopping.. lol

We got take out at zupas and went home and enjoyed each other, making up

lost time through the week and sunk into our bed early for the busy day ahead of us.

Saturday we woke up early for a football game we had to attend.

Christian and i are not morning people, we love our sleep. But i rather enjoyed

getting up early on a Saturday and having the whole day ahead of us.

We ended up going to see a movie with my mom, and then dinner with

Jammie and Chris and their adorable little Hudson at Texas Roadhouse.

Was such a great day.

Sunday we just hung out the two of us and enjoyed our last day together.

We recieved an Olive Garden gift card for our wedding, and have been really

wanting to use it the past month... but every time we have time to go, it's crazy busy.
So we cheated.. we went last night on a Sunday.. in and out in under an hour. It was
SO good too. Yum! We eat out too much. It needs to stop.

I'm seriously so grateful for my husband and all the little

things he does to make me happy. I've really noticed it this weekend, I'm so spoiled.

some weekend highlights

- telling christian about my dream of having a mini farm. that i want two chickens and a baby goat..

he didnt like that idea so much, and didnt like that it started with a few animals and ended

with a donkey a pony and a baby pig.

- christian pointing out to me THE CUTEST COTTAGE HOME that was for sale, that i fell in love with
"love at first sight" and frowned all the way to the movie theater knowing i couldnt have it. christian kept
saying, "babe, it wasnt for sale.. it wasnt" trying to make me feel better. his cute lies worked.

- driving home from cabelas i was so "hangry" because we hadnt eaten so he pulled into a little

ceasars just for me.

- both jamming out to music and screaming our lungs out

- christian apologizing a hundred times because of a movie we watched in bed one
night that he picked out was really stupid.

- thinking i left my purse in olive garden, we turn around and go all the way back, then realized
i had it in the car the whole time.. such a "micall moment" he just kissed my forhead and said,
"it's okay ya goof" knowing how bad i felt.

i love my husband.
